Kane (Director of the AACo Department of Inspections and Permits), Philip Hager (Planning and Zoning Officer) and Christopher Phipps (Director of AACo Department of Public Works), it is quoted that "We wanted to assure the community that no large-scale development will take place on the Mayo Peninsula." There has been no definition given for "large-scale development". As development begins to proceed, we are working to increase transparency between county departments and residents.
